About the Interval

the Interval: Philadelphia is ALL about music, particularly about music with ties to our home town, Philadelphia. Through a professionally produced video podcast interview format, the Interval shares the stories, in their own words, of notable present, past and upcoming "players" of the rich Philly music scene. Subjects tell their story of their journey about how and why they devoted their life's work to their musical trade and craft, as showcased in an multi-media format with live-to-tape interviews, videos, and links.  While our focus is on artists you can listen to, or see and perform live locally, the Interval will include stories about the unsung heroes of the scene too - like instrument makers, venue owners, writers, producers, publishers, and more.
